Benefits of Exercise for Recovery
In 2019 our client and member Jeff suffered his second stroke. He was unable to speak or move his right arm or right leg. Thanks to the excellent care from his medical team at MetroHealth in Ohio Jeff was on the road to recovery. Jeff’s story doesn’t end with the care he received at MetroHealth. His perseverance, personality, and determination have enabled him to progress. Many of our members have seen Jeff working out with our owner/trainer Ken at The Fitness Edge. Over the months that he has worked with Ken he is gaining more strength in his right side as well as his overall health.
Jeff and his husband Cary split their time between Palm Springs, CA and Saugatuck MI. Upon returning this Spring to Saugatuck, Jeff hit the gym to continue his exercise routine. He sent us a short video (left) to show his progress.
