Working with a personal trainer should not be considered a luxury. Trainers know how to best use all of the equipment to its fullest advantage, and how to help you use it safely and intelligently to achieve your desired results, whether it be weight loss, muscle gain, or just plain old optimum physical fitness. Each of our trainers is fully certified and can develop a program to meet your goals and safely accommodate any limitations you may have.

When you schedule a session with a trainer you are more likely to make it to the gym – you have a set time and are expected to show up. There is less likelihood of skipping your workout for the day if you have a planned routine and someone waiting for you. You also will push yourself harder with someone watching whom you inherently want to please or impress. Trainer sessions provide the trifecta of fitness: knowledge, motivation, and accountability.

The Fitness Edge offers a variety of training packages to meet your budget – half hour, full hour, private, semi-private, and even group. Talk to our staff about how you can work with a personal trainer.

Small Group Training

Join a group of 4 to 6 individuals with a common goal.

These small groups provide many of the benefits of a one on one sessions with a personal trainer but have an added benefit of the feeling of comradery. Our Small Group training program is called Ageless Fitness. For more information about Ageless Fitness click here.
